About Me

I have always been drawn to observing people, and when I picked up a camera, my instinct was to capture the human experience. I work as an operating room nurse and I am often confronted with the absurdities of life which shape my perspective. Photography serves as both a meditative practice and a form of self-expression as I strive to communicate my emotions through my photographs.

Creating intimate photographs requires time and patience – perhaps this is why I am constantly in search of those moments. Long-term photographic projects have always intrigued me, as beneath the surface of the human experience lie complex, unseen forces. Engaging with these projects becomes a profound journey of self-discovery for me.

“Fair Season” is my current work, which involves documenting the various county fairs across the state of Washington.
